Hazelnuts: Opinions differ

ORDU. Unofficial production estimates for 2018 differ by as much as 100,000 mt in Turkey. Prices are, however, surprisingly stable on a low level.

 

Stable exports

Turkey has shipped about 4,500 mt last week causing total exports for the season to climb to 265.221 mt. The current season will be completed in 7 weeks. If weekly exports remain stable Turkey should ship as much as 295,000-300,000 mt in 2017/18.
