Hazelnuts: The production forecast for 2018

ORDU. As expected, hazelnut prices have risen after the TMO started selling. The differences between the offer prices of various distributors remain.

More goods starting April
The TMO has already received procurement requests amounting to several thousand tonnes of hazelnuts. However, most goods on offer are of average quality, with prices at 11.50–12,50 TRY/kg; these prices are valid until the end of March 2018. Further positions are set to be available in April, also for premium goods at significantly higher prices.
