Hazelnuts: Turkey exports record volumes

ORDU. Exports from Turkey are booming. More than 100,000 metric tonnes of hazelnuts without shell have been shipped overseas since the start of the season. This is an absolute record.

Exports have climbed by as much as 67% over last year. The average weekly export volume currently ranges above 11,300 metric tonnes, whereas last year's figure ranked much lower at 6,800 metric tonnes.
