Differing opinions on production

The agricultural associations in Turkey complain that production figures were issued at the INC Congress. Traders report that many of them are unaware that the information was provided by the Aegean Exporters Association and not by outsiders.

Contrary to the production estimate of 770,000 mt issued at the INC, the production estimates circulating in the market differ widely. They range from 650.000 mt to 850.000 mt. A production of 700,000-750,000 mt of in shells currently appears to be realistic.
