Bumper crop's effect

An upscale has been observed in the demand for soybean. One of the main reason behind this is that the prices for crushing the oil seeds have decreased. Hence a lot of farmers are bulk buying soybean.

With the above scenario keeping in mind, the sowing of soybean is likely to be delayed sue to the late monsoon showers in the growing regions of soybean.  Monsoon showers usually cover a big part of Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra by mid June but this time it’s late leading to the crop to be delayed. The MSP on Soybean has also increased.

Due to a bumper crop this season the prices remained on the, further demotivating the farmers to grow soybean and shifting to sugarcane for better prices.
