FRANKFURT. Monitoring of the oil seed sector, comparing today’s prices with the previous day’s prices.

The oilseed market is mostly quiet. It is only Indian exporters who have reduced their prices for natural hulled sesame seeds compared with last week.

In Russia, sowing of the spring crops has largely been completed. Sunflower seeds were sown on 8.1 million hectares, a good 104% of the planned area. Rapeseed currently stands at 1.3 million ha (94.5%) and soybeans at 2.4 million ha (80%).
