FRANKFURT. Monitoring of the oilseed sector with day-to-day price comparisons.

After this week's sharp rise, the prices for sesame seeds have lost ground again in India. Depsite the observed decline in yields, sluggish demand is preventing the sunflower seed prices from rising in Bulgaria. Meanwhile, the prices for blue poppy seeds have stabilised in the Czech Republich at EUR 2.70-2.75 per kg FCA and limited supplies in Turkey have driven up prices to USD 3.90-4.00 per kg CFR Hamburg.
