NEW DELHI/ATLANTA. Indian traders are looking forward to further price hikes and are pinning hopes on the upcoming wedding season. In the USA, production is expected to be higher while at the same time exports are declining.

Low point seems to have been overcome

Indian peanut traders are breathing a sigh of relief, as the market appears to have bottomed out and prices have risen again. Indian palm oil imports and Indonesia's B40 biodiesel policy are still causing uncertainty. Palm oil imports have fallen to their lowest level in 14 years, which is boosting peanut prices.
