Sunflower kernels: increasingly scarce transport options

SOFIA. The price corrections in the Bulgarian sunflower seed market prompted suppliers in other producing countries to adjust their prices.

Raw seed prices for black in-shells of 96% purity continued to rise in the Bulgarian market this week. In the ports, quotations climbed to EUR 0.312-0.314 per kg CPT Varna. On the domestic market, the offers range between EUR 0.306-0.307 per kg EXW. Sunflower kernels, bakery, for prompt shipment have become more expensive compared to last week.
