Soybeans: Argentina's drought fuels market

The soybean market recorded substantial price gains in Chicago by midday and exceeded the USD 14.50/bushel mark. In Argentina, the current drought is expected to last another 14 days. This could lead to a decline in yields on 30% of the Argentinean soybean belt. In the WASDE report tomorrow, the US trade expects US soybean ending stocks to fall by 90,000 mt from last month. World soybean ending stocks are expected to decline by 500,000 mt to 82.9 million mt. The monthly US Census data shows that 324.42 million bushels
