Prices of rice rises

Surged demand

The demand of rice from Vietnam increased a lot this year as the world Vietnam Rice prices were lower compared to the world. But as each day passes the stock of rice has declined and led to the increase in the export prices as well as domestic price of rice.

Average price of rice is up by $30-$40 per tonne. A lot of trades had signed future contract when the prices were low and are nor facing losses.

Apart from that the Food and Agriculture Organization have forecasted that China will be the biggest producer of rice in the coming year and will be followed by India. The global output of rice is likely to be increased by 0.7% landing on to 502.3%.
