DALIAN/KIEV. Farmers in the Ukraine report of encouraging porduction prospects. That is if the weather plays along.

Small fruits in Northeast China
Although the first pumpkin fruits are already forming in the Northeast of China, some plants have only started flowering now. It is still too early for the exporters to submit offers for the new crop and traders in Europe are also refraining from providing speculative offers.

The market prices for the 2018 crop are fluctuating by a few dollars every now and then. Depending on supplier, price differences may even amount to as much as 100 USD/mt. Grade A GWS kernels are trading for similar prices as last year around this time.
