DALIAN/VIENNA. Reduced acreage and limited demand are not exactly encouraging prospects in China. Prospects are equally discouraging in Europe.

 

Fixed prices in China

The prices in China remain stable and are trading on a similar level as last year. There are, however, also great differences depending on optical appearance of the seeds. Demand has almost come to a complete standstill in China.

Although demand is very much subdued, it is still very well possible that supplies may run low this year. In how far prices will rise remains to be seen. Although the prices remain stable, there are some cheaper offers available for GWS and Shine Skin kernels. Some suppliers offer GWS, Grade A ke
