NEW DELHI. Due to the holidays in China and the hurdles for EU exports, the Indian sesame seed market remains quiet these days. Hope rests on the tender announced for the end of February.

Falling prices at origin

The Indian sesame seed market lacks impulses. In addition to sluggish demand from overseas, the domestic market also remains quiet. Indian exporters were able to win a large share of the supply volume in the last sesame seed tender, but purchases have now been made for this as well.
