NEW DELHI. Higher sesame seed prices are currently not able to assert themselves in the market, which is why exporters are forced to reduce their offers again.

Black sesame keeps its head up

Over the past few days, Indian sesame seed prices have risen USD 20-65 from the previous week. The higher price level further curbed demand, which was already comparatively low, which is why exporters reduced their prices again at the end of the week.

White sesame seeds have approached the level of the previous week again, black sesame seeds, on the other hand, stayed on the higher level. At 2.85 USD/kg CIF Hamburg, black sesame, Super Z, 99.95% is offered at a price around 65 USD more expensive. Black sesame, regular, 99.
