NEW DELHI. More details concerning the next sesame tender from South Korea will be issued on Monday. The first details are already known.

Market player in India confirm that a new tender from south Korea will be issued on Monday. Reports state that the country intends to buy 10,000-12,000 mt – ca. 5,000 mt in premium quality and ca. 7,000 mt in standard quality. Details on the bidding and delivery dates are still to be announced.

 

Prices climb to 10-week high

Over the last few weeks, the in India have risen steadily. Hulled and natural sesame seeds are trading on a 10-week high and are 400-500 USD/mt more expensive
