Sesame seeds: New tender from South Korea

NEW DELHI. South Korea launched a new tender last week. Bidding closes next week.

 

Tender in line with expectations

The tender has been launched for a total of 6,700 mt of white natural sesame seeds – 2,700 mt in P1 quality and 4,000 mt in P2 quality. Market players had initially anticipated a tender of ca. 6,000 mt. Registration closes on 08 January and E-bids will be accepted until 10 January. Minimum bids are 600 mt and maximum bids are 900 mt. Shipments from Asia are expected to arrive in South Korea by 10 March and from Africa by 10 April.
