NEW DELHI. Exporters in India are seizing on the rise in buying interest. They have slightly raised their prices again after the slump over the last few weeks.

 

Demand rises for the time being

The market has witnessed a nominal gain in prices towards the end of the week. Traders are speaking of a revival in upcountry and export demand, which has left much to be desired recently. The steady decline in prices throughout November has rendered India competitive again. According to reports, enquiries are mainly coming in from China and the Middle East.
