NEW DELHI. Supply and demand are well balanced in India since daily arrivals are strongly reduced. The harvest is nearly complete and demand is subdued.

Supply and demand are in balance
It is estimated that the exporters in India have pruchsed as much as the 90% of the 7,900 mt they require for shipment to South Korea. This is the main reason why the amrket has become quieter again. Overseas demand is also limited.

Since the harvest is nearly complete spot market arrivals have declined. Limited supply and subdued demand have resulted in stable prices meaning that hulled und natural white sesame seeds are trading on a similat level as last week.
