Cumin

Indian cumin prices are continuing their downward spiral and have fallen again by USD 40/mt compared to last week. Neither demand nor arrivals in the markets have picked up, yet suppliers are optimistic about the future. Due to the political unrest in Bangladesh, some shipments are currently stuck at the border, but the situation here is said to have calmed down a little and the government has given assurances that normal trade can be resumed in the next few days.
