Cumin

After the relatively large price jump last week, cumin prices are showing a slight decline this week. However, market players expect that this will only be short-lived and that circumstances rather point to a further upward trend. India has the advantage that the crops in Afghanistan, Syria and Iran have been small and prices there are correspondingly high. MASHHAD. Annual production normally exceeds 300 mt in Iran’s Khorasan Razavi Province, but climatic conditions have changed and production now only ranges at 150 mt.
