Cumin

The upward trend in Indian cumin prices has paused for the time being. Arrivals of the new crop have begun in the major trading centres of Gujarat and Rajasthan, and as market players have already predicted, this is putting pressure on prices. They have fallen by USD 100/mt compared to last week. So far, however, the new crop with a moisture content of over 15% is not yet convincing and market players are refraining from making large purchases.
