Spices: Chilli Market is down, Not much movements due to New System

Cumin Seeds:

There is less demand from international market as well as local market and also future market selling presser makes market to go down further and continued down since last one week.

The arrival of cumin in Unjha mandi is about 6500 bags new arrival and repeated sale is 2500 bags. Total was 9000 bags arrival report. Overall 16500 bags reported in different markets of Cumin. On the NCDEX market prices has stable and further gone down. Cumin continues to go down in physical market. Cumin futures market is continue on down ward trend. There is pressure of selling side in the physical market as well as online future market. Bottom circuit is found in cumin. The price of cumin has fallen by 3.31 percent.

Coriander Seeds:

In the Baran mandi of Rajasthan, arrival reported about 3300 bags and the price are stable. There is less demand for local market reported today. Imported cargo selling at lower prices makes market stable. Arrival in Rajasthan:  Ramganj mandi, Kota, Baran, Gujrat, Gondal, Junagadh total arrival reported about 7200 bags. Market is stable and traders says that there is no hope the prices to go up.

Fenugreek Seeds:

Market is down. There is no demand from local market and International market.

Millet / Yellow-Green Bajra:

Price is down. There is no demand for exports as well as local market. Arrivals are more in the market.

Kalonji / Black Seeds: 

Prices are down. There is no demand for exports as well as local market. There is not any demand for Essential Oils producers and other processor. Arrivals are higher in the market yards.

Mustard Seeds:

Market is down. Prices are down. There is not much demand for crushing as well as local market. There is no demand for international market. Rajasthan aims to produce 38 lakh tonnes of mustard : Jaipur:  Rajasthan, which produces the most mustard in the country, has set a target to produce 3.770 million tonnes of mustard in Rabi crop year 2017-18. This production target is 4.3 per cent less than the previous year's yield. In Rajasthan, the production of mustard in the last year was 3.940 million tonnes. Please tell that mustard is the main oilseed crop of Rabi and its sowing starts from mid-October and harvesting march starts in the last. An official of the Rajasthan Agriculture Department says that even if there is not enough water for irrigation in some areas of the state, there is a possibility of some reduction in the production even after the area is increased. In the new Rabi season, the area of mustard can reach 2.6 million hectares, which was 2.5 million hectares last year.

Chhattisgarh boosts production target of mustard :Raipur: During the next Rabi season in Chhattisgarh, there is a target to plant mustard seed in 160,000 hectares. Whereas, mustard production target has been fixed 88,860 tonnes. In the state, year 2015-17, the mustard plantation was done in 153,490 hectares and production was 84,420 tonnes.

In the ongoing target for Rabi Crop from Chhattisgarh Agricultural Department, it has been said that the seedling of linseed will be done in 60,000 hectare and production is likely to be 26,070 tonnes. This production was 24,180 tonnes in the year 2016-17, while the sowing was done in 56,240 hectares. During the Rabi season, the target for the total sowing of oilseeds in 271,000 hectare has been fixed while production target of 167,000 tonnes has been kept. In the year 2016-17, the total sowing of oilseeds in the Rabi season was 250,000 hectare and production was 153,000 tonnes.

Fennel Seeds:

Prices are down. There is not much demand from local and exports market. Buyers don’t want to pay higher prices. Arrivals reported stable and down as compare to previous day in Unjha market yard.

Flax Seeds:

Prices are down for machine cleaned and sortex cargo. There is less demand reported for exports as well as local market.

Dill Seeds:

Prices are down. There is no demand from international and domestic market.

Ajuwain Seeds/ Aniseeds:

Prices are down. There is not much demand from local as well as exports market and arrivals are more.

Red Chili:

Market is down due to more arrivals. Government has made notifications to make work on E-Nam system of online in market yard of Guntur. Market there are less trade and due to that market is going down.

Guntur: Market is down and not much business.
