Sunflower seeds:The 2018 crop is virtually sold out

SOFIA. The sunflowers are developing very well in Bulgaria. At the same time, the stocks are declining rapidly and hardly any seeds can be obtained in the free market.

Remaining supplies have already been sold
Sunflower seed supplies currently range at 219.000 mt with the season still running for two months. These volumes have, however, largeryl been sold already  and are to be found in the warehouses of the exporters and processors. Nevertheless, black in shells with a 96% purity are trading lower than last week at 322 EUR/mt CPT Varna. Problem is that where supplies are limited it is difficult to find buyers.
