SOFIA Despite the holidays, some buyers in Bulgaria are buys stocking up. This is also reflected in the farmgate prices.

China remains an important factor

Due to the holidays, trading activities in Bulgaria will be much limited until Tuesday. Nevertheless, domestic demand iss surprisingly good as some traders are busy replenished their stocks. This has driven up the prices for black in shells with a purity of 96% to 307 EUR/mt CPT Varna. However, it remains to be seen in how far this trend will continue.

Bakery kernels are currently trading on a level of 640-680 EUR/mt DDP Germany for prompt shipment. The prices for the new crop vary at 570-610 EUR/mt FCA Bulgaria. The weather
