Sunflower seeds: Traders are increasingly optimistic

SOFIA. Following a rainy month in July, the heat wave has reached Bulgaria just in time for the end of the ripening process. Market players are optimistic about the harvest.

 

Ideal conditions
Rainfall and average temperatures have created good conditions for the development of the sunflower seeds in Bulgaria. The fields will be dry in time for the start of the harvest. The areas under cultivation have had sufficient water and temperatures are expected to remain above 30 °C for the coming days. 

Old crop supplies are limited
As a result of the holiday season, companies that clean the seeds are winding down and many traders are no longer offering seeds for prompt delivery. Some are even
