In the current times and the market conditions the spice industry need new developments and ideas focused on on value-addition and employment generation.

Value addition is the central line int eh rural area and it also makes the farming attractive for the younger generation for them to stay and bring is new changes and ideas.

Record amounts were, in fact, spent on cardamom, fenugreek and spice mixtures, saffron and turmeric. Pepper tops the chart.
