MADRID. Traders have readjusted the prices in Spain. The prices on offer for organic almonds also reflect the current trend in the market.

Organic almonds trade at EUR 9.60 per kg

The downward trend has continued in the almond market in Spain. Even the prices for organic almonds have declined, despite claims that supplies were virtually sold out a few months ago. Adverse weather conditions impacted last year's production and prompted a drastic rise in price. Offers for natural organic Valencia almonds, 12/14 mm, were only issued in mid-May with prices ranging at EUR 10.60 per kg FCA Spain. Prices now range at EUR 9.60 per kg FCA Spain.
