Almonds: Spain's September exports up by 20%

MADRID/SACRAMENTO. The massive slump in US exports is causing almond prices to fall. Spanish almond suppliers, however, can be pleased with a significantly better export volume. September exports are 20% higher than in the same month last year.

Germany increases imports from Spain by 50%

Logistical hurdles and well-planned advance purchases have caused US exports to fall massively this season. By the end of September, shipments to Europe, for example, were 7% behind the same month last year at 42,890 mt, and by October the difference had already grown to -25% (59,334 mt vs. 78,683 mt).
