Bangladesh takes away rice import from India

India’s crop at a high compared to the demand.

According to traders, easing demand against ample stocks position on increased arrivals from producing regions, mainly weighed on rice basmati prices.

LG PARBOILED SRTX RICE 5 percent broken prices were quoted at $426 per tonne, amid limited supplies and owing to slackened demand.

On the basis of traders from Maharashtra the African buyers are a bit active but Asian demand is weak. From next month supply from winter-sown crop is expected to go up.
