Organic goods remain competitive

The continuing buckwheat imports to China are keeping prices on the domestic market in check. Depending on the supplier and quality, there can also be significant price differences in the Chinese buckwheat market. Meanwhile, organic buckwheat remains competitive in international comparison. Conventional Chinese buckwheat, hulled, is currently being traded at export prices of USD 940/mt FOB Dalian, while offers for organic buckwheat are at a level of USD 1,010/mt FOB.
