KYIV/DALIAN. EU countries increased their millet imports by almost 15% in July 2025. Higher shipments from Ukraine were the main reason for this. The Chinese market shows little movement.

Stable prices in China

The Chinese millet market is relatively quiet. Market players are currently pursuing different tactics. Growers, however, are currently reluctant to part with their stocks, which has supported prices in recent weeks. Apart from minimal fluctuations, export prices have therefore remained largely stable since mid-June. Hulled millet is currently trading at a level of USD 830/mt FOB Da
