Millet: EU increases imports from Ukraine by 33%

KYIV/DALIAN. EU countries increased their millet imports by almost 15% in July 2025. Higher shipments from Ukraine were the main reason for this. The Chinese market shows little movement.

Stable prices in China

The Chinese millet market is relatively quiet. Market players are currently pursuing different tactics. While some exporters are stocking up on goods in order to be able to respond to requests for prompt shipments, other traders are showing little interest in buying. Growers, however, are currently reluctant to part with their stocks, which has supported prices in recent weeks.
