The Vietnamese Ministry of Processing and Market Development published encouraging export figures in its latest report. According to the report, a total of 152,000 mt of cashews worth USD 894 million were shipped overseas in the first four months of the year, representing an 8.6% increase in volume compared to the same period last year, but at the same time a 7.4% drop in value. In April alone, exports amounted to 40,000 mt. The most important export destination remains the USA, which claims 27% of exports, followed by the EU with 20%
