Dried beans: low buying interest

BEIJING. Growers complain about low demand for most dried beans on the Chinese market, only sales of mung beans are satisfactory. Therefore, there have been some price changes compared to last month.

Prices for black kidney beans continue to fall

In the Chinese black kidney bean market, price declines continue; during February, prices for small black kidney beans, 99.95% purity fell again by USD 70/mt and are currently at USD 1,260/mt FOB Dalian. Sales are ongoing in the growing regions and farmers had actually hoped that buying interest would pick up again after the end of China's zero-Covid policy - but this has not been the case so far.
