... decline by 40,000 metric tonnes. Production in Canada, nevertheless ranges 14% higher than last year and ist currently estimated at 560,000 metric tonnes. In considering the carry-over stocks, supplies should amount to 655,000 metric tonnes, which is almost 5% more than last year. For the time being, the market is reckoning with a similar average price as last year.
