… between the second and fourth week of May in Kazakhstan. More precise plans for cultivation are not yet known, only a trend is discernible so far, according to agricultural media. While the area under cereals and oilseeds this spring is expected to be about 75,200 ha smaller than last year at 15.8 million ha, the area under oilseeds is to be expanded by 63,000 ha to 3 million ha. Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, meanwhile, is sticking to its crop estimates for the coming season, with about 450,000 ha expected to produce 675,000 mt of flaxseed under normal circum
