A surge in global rice demand.

The world’s rice trade is forecasted to increase by 1% to reach 42.3 tonnes.

Vietnam:

Vietnam shipped nearly 6 million tonnes of rice in 2017, up one million tonnes compared to the year before. Continuing the success, since the beginning of 2018, many enterprises have earned high price orders, helping to increase the domestic rice prices by 30 percent.
