Next week’s International Nut and Dried Fruit Council Congress in Macao will be a key event for hazelnuts. The market is anxiously waiting for the new crop estimates to be issued as they will prove decisive for pricing. Many teams are currently assessing the shrubs in Turkey. Last weekend's snowfall in the Eastern regions of Ordu-Trabzon in altitudes above 900 m also triggered concerns. Although some videos were posted on social media indicating that the shrubs will be affected, no frost occurred.
