Hazelnuts: Erdoğan to announce TMO bid

ORDU. President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will announce the TMO’s purchasing price for hazelnuts this week and guesses are running wild. Lucky buyers can purchase organic hazelnuts at a discount.

Desperate to sell organic supplies

While general supplies are relatively low as the crackers will only resume operations at the start of the new season, buyers may be lucky regarding organic hazelnuts. Issue is that many suppliers attending this week’s BioFach in Nuremberg, Germany, still have ample stocks at their disposal. Some even reckon that they may very well charge the same rates as for conventional nuts.
