ORDU. Ferrero finally issued a bid price for raw kernels on Thursday. Exporters are highly disappointed with the November decline in overseas shipments.

Ferrero sets price limit

Since Ferrero waited before finally issuing a bid price on Thursday concerns were voiced that the market giant may put off issuing a price until next year. In issuing a bid price of TRY 47.25/kg for raw kernels Ferrero is taking advantage of subdued export demand. November exports ranged as low as 23,000 mt. Although raw nut prices have risen nominally, exporters are dismayed because the bid price is too low for them to be able to compesate for the decline in overseas shipement by selling to Ferrero.

Dissastisfaction is now taking ho
