With the Turkish lira losing sharply against the US dollar and euro demand has revived for hazelnuts. On Wednesday, the lira plunged to a record low of 23.40 against the US dollar and the currency is presently quoted at 25.27 against the euro. While global analysts and investors see no need to panic, reality is totally different for hazelnut exporters in Turkey.
