ORDU. The TMO surprised the market last week by stating that stocks will be sold as of March. Prices have also been issued.

TMO prices range at TRY 20.50 per kg

The TMO intends to start selling hazelnuts as of Monday, 02 March. At TRY 20.00-21.00 per kg the TMO prices range on a similar level as the current market prices. Prices are, therefore, expected to remain stable for the time being. However, it should be noted that the exact volumes the TMO intends to sell are not yet known. Rumour has it that companies will only be allowed to purchase small volumes to prevent speculative buying.
