Millet: lower yields in Ukraine

DALIAN/KYIV. Harvesting is finally in full swing in China after the rains have stopped. The EU's millet imports have nearly slumped by 50%.

Prices declines anticipated in China

In China the prices should start to decline a bit as soon as the new crop has arrived. After the weather has cleared in the producing areas, conditions will be favourable for harvesting and drying with low-moisture grains becoming increasingly available. Demand still ranges lower than supply.
