A competitive price in the domestic market

Ginger is being imported from the neighbouring country, Nepal. Prior to the implication of GST there was no tax on ginger import but for a period of 2 weeks after the implication of GST the imports were on halt due to the server error.

The containers that were ready to be transported were halted at the site to figure out the new tax regime and during this period the quality of ginger declined. And also the orders that were confirmed were sitting in the warehouse and rotting.

With an addition of 5% tax after GST and closed down for 2 weeks the prices are competitive to the Indian prices.
