Overseas:

Today, the quotation overseas Peas price is stable. The transaction is just so so. According to the recent forecast of Canada statistical bureau, the production of peas this year is3,790,000 tons,in which 85% isthe yellow peas,14% green peas and the rest one include Yellwoo peas and Green peas. The bean production in the last year is 4,840,000 tons. Now there is still old inventory 306,000 tons from the last year in Canada. So the total peas supplying quantity in Canada is about 4,130,000 tons this year. Even though the quantity, which will be exported to India, will be reduced, the quantity, which will be exported to China and other destinations, will be increased. The production is less about 1,000,000 tons than that in the last year. Adding the inventory, the supply this year will just meet with the demand in each month. Once the harvest season is delayed next year, it will be very likely to be lack of the peas by September,2018. It is estimated that the supplying quantity of peas this year is limited. The price may be increased gradually. The yellow peas are in the seasonable light season now. The price is stable, even to be reduced. But after the harvest season, the later market will still be better.

China:

Peas prices are stable generally and it sales just so so. At the port, there is about 90,000-100,000 tons of goods available. Such goods keep a safety inventory. And the price is stable relatively. According to Customs data, in the month of July, 2017, China imported 93,567.0 tons of peas,68,868.3 tons from Canada, 22,957.0 tons from USA ,1,499.8 tons from Australia and 242.0 tons from UK and exported about 5.7 tons in total, mostly to Hong Kong with 5.7 tons. By July 31, China imported 619,500.9 tons of peas and exported 31.3 tons in total.
