Pumpkin seeds: first factories resume work

PEKING. Many Chinese pumpkin seed factories are still waiting for approval from the local health authorities. In some places, however, work has already started again.

Prices increases of up to 900 USD per metric tonne

The first pumpkin seed factories have received the clearance from the responsible authorities and are busy with the processing of the remaining orders. According to their own statements, exporters expect to be able to ship current enquiries for prompt deliveries around mid-March. Pumpkin seeds, GWS, Grade A are currently not offered due to scarce availability, while GWS seeds, Grade AA cost USD 2,800 per metric tonne CFR Hamburg and are therefore about USD 200 per metric tonne more expe
