BEIJING. Raw pumpkin kernels are still trading on a high level in China. The limited supplies the producers still hold are to be...

...sold at the most profitable prices. Many traders are still stocking up and are adapting prices accordingly. Although marekt players reckoned that prices would decline after Chinese New Year, this hopes have now been slashed as high freight charges have even prompted some suppliers to lift their prices. Export prices may differ by as much as several hundred US dollars per tonne depending on inventories. Grade A GWS kernels are trading in a range of USD 3.27-3.58/kg CFR Hamburg and grade A shine skins in a range of USD 3.17-3.36/kg CFR.
