Indian sesame seed suppliers could not keep up their prices last week, prices broke away despite the disappointing crop figures (200,000 – 240,000 mt). The buying interest is too weak at the moment. This week, however, there were reports of comparatively high prices for competitive sesame seeds from Africa. That made it possible for Indian traders to maintain their price level for a while.
