Cumin prices have continued their downturn this week. Large stockists and traders are only buying limited volumes. Highly volatile markets have prompted small traders to be cautious as some have already incurred hugh losses. Competitors in other producing countries such as China and Turkey are, in addition, issuing more attractive offers ranging at USD 5,600-5,900/mt, whereas prices in India range at USD 6,630/mt FOB India for A grade cumin.
