Prices on the Indian cumin market have declined once again, this time by a considerable USD 200/mt. However, traders are assuming that the bottom has now been reached. Some farmers are holding back their produce as they do not want to part with it at such low prices just yet. Due to the high prices last season, many of them have expanded their cumin cultivation, which is now reflected in large quantities and falling prices.
